In 1949, Porsche was still a very young brand. However, it did have big plans. On August 8 of that year, Pon's Automobielhandel in Amersfoort officially became the first Porsche importer in the world. Yet it was not until 1950 that the first 356, a red coupé, came to the Netherlands.
