Originally the Carrera GT was developed in 2003 for participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The very low sports car had a V10 engine with 450 kW / 612 hp, a carbon monocoque and ceramic brakes and clutch. On September 21, 2004, the Carrera GT finished a lap record at the Nürburgring: 7.33 minutes. The Carrera GT was produced in Leipzig in an edition of 1,270 copies. In accordance with the new generation, Porsche now also supplies the Carrera GT as a detailed 1:43 scale model. The racing car is carried out in the color silver gray.
