Porsche Klassik - 1 Million Porsche 911 - Anniversary edition

"There are only a few dreams that come true 1 million times," is an apt advertising slogan from Porsche's ad. For the Zuffenhausen-made car manufacturer, this dream has become a reality. In May 2017, the millionth Porsche 911 came in the seventh generation of the production line. For the historic production anniversary, the magazine PORSCHE KLASSIK released a large 911 special issue with numerous Elfer stories.
 
On May 11, 2017, the millionth Porsche 911 was completed in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. The Jubilee Elfer is an Irish-green Porsche Carrera S, which is also a stylistic homage to Ferry Porsche's first Elfer from 1964. Of course "Der Millionär" plays a leading role in the PORSCHE KLASSIK anniversary booklet. Because it was not only preserved for eternity and exhibited in the Porsche Museum. In the booklet, the editors take a look at the history of the 911 by 146 pages, show the most beautiful miniature models of the Zuffenhausen classic and portray six 911 models and their extraordinary motives. In addition to many facts and figures about the best sports car in the world, the anniversary booklet also tells the story of how the Porsche 901 was born out of an idea in 1963 – the successor to the legendary Porsche 356.

Porsche KLASSIK has also found a rare ANDIAL Porsche. The ANDIAL 964 Carrera 4 is considered the strongest road elf in the world. In 1952 the 911 was born far away, but 65 years ago the world's first Porsche Club was founded in the middle of the Ruhr area. PORSCHE KLASSIK visited revier pioneers in Dortmund.
